Greetings friends! This note goes out to those of you on the Cape Cod Songwriters Retreats (CCSR) e-mail list just a little bit before the general public. As you know, space is at a premium each year and I want to give you a few days headstart on planning for next year.
The staff is stellar once more. In January Sloan Wainwright and I welcome Tom Prasada-Rao - a world class singer, songwriter, and musician who was supposed to teach for us last month but is winding his way through health challenges right now. He's on board for next January, and his music not-withstanding, his "depth of field" on all things relating to the human experience is profound and powerful. He will add so much, and we will hope this will be a retreat for Tom ~ and the other instructors ~ as well. Tret Fure (March 2018) returns to us - a founding pioneer of the Women's Music Movement going decades back, a great friend, and a luminescent instructor herself. Then in March, Sloan and I are joined by first-time-with-us instructors Pete and Maura Kennedy ~ again, not enough superlatives to heap on two more great teaching artists and folks you wanna just hang out with.
You'll notice the slightest of price increases next year too, $50 single/$25 double occupancy/commuter. I've held them at bay for a couple years now, and they are only commensurate with increased costs.
