Hi, family and friends of the Cape Cod Songwriters Retreats.
We started up in January of 2014 at the magnificent Lands End Inn at the tip of Cape Cod and quickly doubled the number of annual gatherings the next year thanks to your interest and support.

The pandemic had its effect, and our doors were closed in 2021 right up through March of 2022 when we gathered there once more, glorious beyond words to be together in person after two years away. Our beautiful innkeepers Stan and Eva Sikorski embraced us as ever and are as much a part of our family as each and every one of you.

This past spring the LEI changed hands to new ownership and I know you understand that having them as our hosts was as big a reason for continuing there as any. Thanks to very gracious outreach they made to the P-town B & B community, enter the Brasswood Inn!

Meet Tom Westmoreland and Brian Calhoun, welcome to our new home at 174 Commercial Street, and go this link to follow the amazing synchronicity that leads us to their doors in 2023:

The short version is that this loving couple ~ lifelong musicians ~ have fashioned their Inn (formerly called the White Wind and purchased by Tom and Brian in 2019) around a vision of inclusivity and creativity, and after I met with them a few weeks ago we whole-heartedly agreed that this must be the new home of the CCSR. There's a marimba set up in the gathering room. A cello.
Tom plays brass, Brian, percussion.
They've even named each of their 11 rooms after musicians...

That would be Ella. How about the Duke Ellington, Leonard Bernstein, Steven Sondheim, Louis Armstrong, Aretha Franklin, Carole King, George & Ira Gershwin, Dolly Parton, Billie Holiday, and Billy Strayhorn rooms? I'm over the moon.

This brings about changes (the one constant in the Universe).
11 rooms instead of 18...and thus a smaller retreat (we can still accommodate commuters). Should I find a neighboring spot nearby on Commercial Street for 2024, we can enlarge and expand.
As it now stands with this more intimate capacity, I welcome the incomparable Sloan Wainwright to my side once more as fellow instructor and guide.

and
March 6-10, 2023

The cost is $1200, which includes a 4-night stay in one of 11 rooms (queen bed), private bathroom, mini-fridge in each room, all classes, group activities, and all meals.
*Bring a second person to share your room, and they pay half for the full program (commuters too): $600
